Caroline Dillingham-Goad is an associate with Zamani & Associates PLLC. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth Carroll Wingo of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, in both the Domestic Relations Branch and Domestic Violence Division. As a law clerk, she gained critical, direct experience in complex family law matters, including divorce, custody, division of assets, and intrafamily offenses. This experience, plus her work as a summer associate in the Family Services Division of the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, inspired her to specialize in family law. Before attending law school, Caroline worked as a litigation paralegal at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP in New York City.

Through her experiences, Caroline has acquired a keen understanding of the complexities of family law and its potential to profoundly impact family life. She is committed to serving her clients with sensitivity and integrity, and is determined to find solutions that work for each client’s specific needs and well-being.

Education:

Caroline received her J.D. in 2021 from American University Washington College of Law. While in law school, she was a Note & Comment Editor for the American University International Law Review, and served as a Student Attorney for the International Human Rights Law Clinic. She also participated in the Summer Law Program in The Hague, to study international criminal law.

Caroline received her M.A. Honours (B.A. equivalent) in International Relations, French, and Spanish from the University of St Andrews, in Scotland.

Caroline is fluent in French and proficient in Spanish, and successfully completed a Principles of French Law course and Spanish for Lawyers course in law school.
